  HISTORY   

Netty started out in Wynsiph, where she was born. Her parents, Maple and Chester, raised her to work hard and see her inner strength. As a wyngling, she helped out around the Rellick family farm, organizing events, and being a wonderful student for Alma and Alma's grandfather. She was also a huge bookworm, which led her to discover how to control magic. She could do a few cool tricks with it on her own, like control the breeze and help plants grown, but she wanted more. 

Sadly, Wynsiph had nothing to offer for her because it was a pretty poor, small, non magic oriented town. The only magic anyone knew or used was learned to aid in farming and communication, so there wasn't much she could take away from that. 
Luckily her family was somewhat profitable because they owned their own construction business, but although her parents were considered "well-off" in Wynsiph, they still could not afford schooling in Antova. The magic scouts that came into town one year recognized her talent that she was very willing to prove. This gave her the chance she needed to go to Antova and learn from the best school in the world: Tassledon! 

She was a wonderful student and adored magic, especially Wind! She studied hard, and was quite talented, but something happened in Antova that sent her into depression, unable to succeed with her studies. She eventually had to come back home to Wynsiph and recover. 

Slowly, she picked herself up and began her own training. Dabbling in all sorts of magic, she came up with new ways to teach the wyngrew around town. She found that she had a knack for teaching magic to others, and began to find her place in the world as a teacher. 
Realizing that there was a need for teachers in small towns for magic, she vowed to help the young children growing up in her own town and a small school was built to honor this dream.

  PERSONALITY  

Mrs. Netty is the kindest sweetheart you will ever meet. She loves children most of all, and has the patience of a saint when it comes to dealing with young, adolescent Wyngrew. (As well her her bombastic husband and daugter) She is however, anything but a pushover! Netty has several tricks up her sleeves when it comes to discipline! (You don't want to see her "evil eye"!) 

While versed in many kinds of magic, Netty is the most advanced at wind magic, her most impressive ability is that of flight magic. She constantly discourages use of magic as a form of fighting, and if a Wyngro uses it on a another student in a mean spirited way, they WILL get a talking to or be kicked out of class.

Her classes are usually held outdoors, but she does have a quaint little house as well for students to practice in during bad weather. (Her house has gone through many renovations due to "accidents" happening. Oops!)
She likes to take her students on many "field trips" around town in order to properly educate them, and adores culture as well. 
Netty will never forget a name or face, but does have trouble talking to parents sometimes, as she never wants to upset them. She does better communicating with those younger than her than those of the same age. 
Overall, Netty is like a second mom to all her students, and is always encouraging and kind.
